THE FUR BOOK
This is a one-off encasing an appropriated Beatrix potter book and wrapped in a destroyed destroyer T-shirt (drawing by Sydney Hermant).
With animal rescue an ongoing theme in Ahlers’ work, The Fur Book is covered in fur; a paradoxical homage to the animal, a nod to Meret Oppenheimer.
